About Me

I’m currently a Director of Data Science at Indeed.com, where I help guide our machine learning and statistical analyses on our core recommendations / search retrieval and ranking; sponsored auction; content aggregation; and trust and safety teams. I currently live in Denver, Colorado.

I did a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin, where I studied how Americans build and maintain positive social ties, and qualitative and quantitative methods.

Before living in Colorado, I was a long-time native of Arizona and spent over a decade in Austin. When I’m not playing with data, you can find me performing improv, reading sci fi or history books, hiking with my partner, or playing video games with my cats Louie and Bajji (currently undefeated).
